Workforce Roundtable – Building Our Education

This week, I attended the Scranton Chamber Workforce Roundtable discussion – our panel specifically discussed K-12 Education and Career Pipeline Solutions. There is great urgency to create a long-term vision to bolster Pennsylvania’s education system in order to prepare our students today for the jobs of the future.

I am pleased to have been appointed to Pennsylvania’s 2030 Commission on Education and Economic Competitiveness – our goal is to establish detailed report and create a long-term plan to align our state’s education system with job demands.
