As budget negotiations and policy discussions continue on a 2025-26 state budget, the Senate took action last night and approved a reasonable bill to provide immediate funding to counties, school districts, hospitals and others to ensure operations continue. If the House approves the legislation, the state can start disbursing $47.6 billion without the need for any new taxes. See our news release further: β¬
