PASSED: My resolution to support families affected by birth-related neurological injuries has passed the Senate.
Senate Resolution 27 directs a study on creating a no-fault catastrophic loss fund, aimed at easing the financial burden for families facing these heartbreaking challenges.
This is an important first step toward delivering quicker, more compassionate support. Now, the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee will begin its work!

Last week, the Senate passed Senate Bill 9, the Save Womenâs Sports Act. You can hear my comments during the bill`s passage.
As a former college athlete, I know the value of fair competition and the life lessons sports teachâleadership, teamwork, and perseverance. Every athlete deserves a level playing field. This bill protects opportunities for biological women and girls in K-12 and college sports, upholding the intent of Title IX.
