September 19, 2023 - Survivors of sudden cardiac arrest, families and many others joined Senator Rosemary Brown to champion her legislation requiring all PA schools to have an automatic external defibrillator (AED) present at all events.
June 27, 2023 - I was an honor to recognize the Mid Valley Girls Softball Team upon attaining the PIAA State Championship Title!

June 22, 2023 - Great news for PA roadways! Senator Brown’s legislation to prevent distracted driving deaths passed the Senate today. We move on to the House with great expectation!

June 19, 2023 - Senator Brown’s legislation for lifesaving AEDs passes Senate Education Committee, heads to the full Senate for a vote.

May 10, 2023 - Today was a good day for PA drivers and families who have lost loved ones on Pennsylvania roadways. We are one step closer to protecting our roads with hands-free legislation. SB37 was voted out of the Transportation Committee. In states where these types of laws have been implemented, lives have been saved. Ohio recently passed distracted driving legislation which went into effect last month. In the short time the law has been in effect, data has shown a 9.1% reduction in distracted driving, preventing 540 crashes, one fatality, and $13 million in economic damages. Let’s get this done in PA!

March 2, 2023 - Mrs. Trish Gladstone and the Pocono Mountain East High School Chorus blessed us today as they performed in the Main Capitol Rotunda for “Music in our Schools” month. Special shout out to Lauren Maula, the Senator’s very own niece. Her voice was part of this magnificent choir.

In attendance were the families of victims, including Eileen and Paul Miller who lost their son, Paul Jr., to distracted driving. If passed, the act will be named Paul Miller’s Law, in honor or Paul Miller, Jr.
