✅ PASSED: My resolution to support families affected by birth-related neurological injuries has passed the Senate.

Senate Resolution 27 directs a study on creating a no-fault catastrophic loss fund, aimed at easing the financial burden for families facing these heartbreaking challenges.

This is an important first step toward delivering quicker, more compassionate support. Now, the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee will begin its work!

Quick stop between meetings at Café Duet in Stroudsburg for a coffee and a catch-up with Mackenzie. ☕️ It was a bit dreary outside, but the cozy vibe here always lifts the mood. ✨

Last week, the Senate passed Senate Bill 9, the Save Women’s Sports Act. You can hear my comments during the bill's passage.

As a former college athlete, I know the value of fair competition and the life lessons sports teach—leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. Every athlete deserves a level playing field. This bill protects opportunities for biological women and girls in K-12 and college sports, upholding the intent of Title IX.

✅ The bill now heads to the House of Representatives.

May is Lyme & Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month!
I visited Dr. Nicole Chinnici, Director of the PA Tick Research Lab at East Stroudsburg University to talk about how you can protect yourself and your loved ones from tick-borne illnesses.

I was proud to secure funding so Pennsylvania residents can submit a tick for FREE testing 🧪. The results can help guide your doctor if you’ve been exposed to a tick-borne pathogen.

🌐 submit a tick at TickLab.org.

Meet Rosemary Brown

Northeast Pennsylvania has been my home since I was five; my husband, Joe and I, have raised our three children here and are grateful to live in the beautiful Pocono Mountains to enjoy the unique opportunities this portion of our state has to offer.

The foundation of my life has always been centered around God, my family, and doing my best each day. While I never promise perfection, I do promise hard work and care for our community with an extremely grateful spirit. This is how I truly try to live my life, but it also makes me a better public servant for you.
