On Friday, my staff and I had the honor of attending several beautiful 9/11 memorial services throughout the 40th District. β€
Each ceremony offered a meaningful opportunity to remember the 2,977 lives lost, honor the first responders and service members who answered the call, and reflect on the unity that followed that terrible day. π
Twenty-five years later, the memories remain strong. We will never forget. πΊπΈ
Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember the nearly 3,000 lives taken on September 11, 2001, and the countless families forever changed by that day.
We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the brave men and women who served in the aftermath, and every person who made the ultimate sacrifice.
We must never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.
