Brown to Host Veterans Appreciation Luncheon
I will once again be hosting my Veterans Appreciation & Informational Luncheon on November 15th at Trout Lake. Join your fellow brothers and sisters in arms as we honor and support all veterans and families of the 40th Senate District. Veterans, their spouses or a guest are invited to attend this appreciation event. Fundraising for the Valor Clinic Foundation
Several upcoming fundraisers are scheduled to benefit the Valor Clinic Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps veterans and their families throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. Last year, the Valor Clinic served over 4,000 veterans and their families through programs that provide outreach and housing stabilization to homeless and at-risk veterans; peer-driven wellness and reintegration; holiday food boxes and meals; and benefits navigation and advocacy. Its October fundraising events are:
The Valor Clinic will also host the following free events in October that use peer to peer and outdoor events like fishing and hunting to help veterans with elevated social conflict, emotional scars and a loss of purpose and direction. Life partners and significant others are encouraged to attend.

My office offers Veteran Assistance appointments with Brian Stolarski of the American Legion Department of Pennsylvania to offer assistance to veterans of the 40th Senatorial District for both my Scotrun and Jefferson Township offices. The Pennsylvania American Legion will assist veterans with issues including:
To make an appointment with the American Legion for Veterans Benefits, you can call my offices at (570) 620-4326 or (570) 213-5705. POW/MIA Recognition Day in Stroudsburg
In September, I attended the POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony in Stroudsburg with the Vietnam Veterans of America. It was a meaningful opportunity to remember the brave men and women who were prisoners of war and those who remain missing in action, along with the families who have carried their absence for decades. We owe these service members and their families our deepest gratitude and our promise to never forget. You are not forgotten. Opening of The Women Veterans Museum in Stroudsburg
Last month, I was honored to be invited to the Soft Opening of The Women Veterans Museum as they celebrated their new home at 107 North 7th Street in Stroudsburg! A special thank you to Claudette and all the other volunteers who make this such a special place to visit, you are truly appreciated! Fall Home Improvement Deals
