There Ought to Be a Law Contest

Students are encouraged to “Think Outside the Box” to come up with legislation ideas that could possibly evolve into legislation. Subjects may include: the environment, school lunches, public safety, bullying, transportation, and education. Students should be sure to focus not just on the ‘what’, but also the ‘why’ and ‘how’. Coming up with an idea is good, but including information on why the idea should be turned into legislation and how it would be implemented is equally important.

Contest Submission Deadline: Friday, May 17, 2024
