Wishing my father a wonderful Father’s Day – thank you for all of your love, unselfishness, support and smiles. And to my husband Joe, the father of our children, thank you for all your continued support, love and dedication to our family. ❤️❤️
Happy Father`s Day! 😘

✅ PASSED: My resolution to support families affected by birth-related neurological injuries has passed the Senate.
Senate Resolution 27 directs a study on creating a no-fault catastrophic loss fund, aimed at easing the financial burden for families facing these heartbreaking challenges.
This is an important first step toward delivering quicker, more compassionate support. Now, the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee will begin its work!

Quick stop between meetings at Café Duet in Stroudsburg for a coffee and a catch-up with Mackenzie. ☕️ It was a bit dreary outside, but the cozy vibe here always lifts the mood. ✨

Last week, the Senate passed Senate Bill 9, the Save Women’s Sports Act. You can hear my comments during the bill`s passage.
As a former college athlete, I know the value of fair competition and the life lessons sports teach—leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. Every athlete deserves a level playing field. This bill protects opportunities for biological women and girls in K-12 and college sports, upholding the intent of Title IX.
✅ The bill now heads to the House of Representatives.

Celebrating this incredible woman today—my mom. 💖 This beautiful Mom created this beautiful family!
She lives each day with kindness, faith, love, humility, and compassion—with a humble heart of gold. Love you, Mom!
To all the amazing moms and those who step in as mother figures—never forget the difference you make, how strong you are, and how important you are to so many. Enjoy this special day celebrating YOU!

Honored to stand alongside the Lombardi Trophy today on the Senate floor. It’s a proud reminder of victory for the Philadelphia Eagles and for our Commonwealth.
Always rooting for Pennsylvania! 🏈

Yesterday in Harrisburg, I stood alongside survivors, advocates, fellow legislators, and the Smart Heart Sports Coalition to call for urgent action on Senate Bill 375, Greg Moyer`s Law, my bill to ensure schools are prepared to respond to sudden cardiac arrest.
Rachel Moyer has been a tireless voice for change ever since her son, Greg, tragically passed away at 15 after collapsing during a basketball game with no AED readily available. For years, Rachel and I have worked on this legislation together to make AED readiness standard in schools.

Ran into @therapydoglink and his handler, Rachel, while in Scranton today. 🐾 Link is busy working, helping to provide stress release to students at Lackawanna College as they finish out their semester. 🥰

May is Lyme & Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month!
I visited Dr. Nicole Chinnici, Director of the PA Tick Research Lab at East Stroudsburg University to talk about how you can protect yourself and your loved ones from tick-borne illnesses.
I was proud to secure funding so Pennsylvania residents can submit a tick for FREE testing 🧪. The results can help guide your doctor if you’ve been exposed to a tick-borne pathogen.
🌐 submit a tick at TickLab.org.
