Honored to stand alongside the Lombardi Trophy today on the Senate floor. It’s a proud reminder of victory for the Philadelphia Eagles and for our Commonwealth.
Always rooting for Pennsylvania! 🏈

Yesterday in Harrisburg, I stood alongside survivors, advocates, fellow legislators, and the Smart Heart Sports Coalition to call for urgent action on Senate Bill 375, Greg Moyer`s Law, my bill to ensure schools are prepared to respond to sudden cardiac arrest.
Rachel Moyer has been a tireless voice for change ever since her son, Greg, tragically passed away at 15 after collapsing during a basketball game with no AED readily available. For years, Rachel and I have worked on this legislation together to make AED readiness standard in schools.

Ran into @therapydoglink and his handler, Rachel, while in Scranton today. 🐾 Link is busy working, helping to provide stress release to students at Lackawanna College as they finish out their semester. 🥰

May is Lyme & Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month!
I visited Dr. Nicole Chinnici, Director of the PA Tick Research Lab at East Stroudsburg University to talk about how you can protect yourself and your loved ones from tick-borne illnesses.
I was proud to secure funding so Pennsylvania residents can submit a tick for FREE testing 🧪. The results can help guide your doctor if you’ve been exposed to a tick-borne pathogen.
🌐 submit a tick at TickLab.org.

So great to run into Len tonight at the VFW Post 2540. Had to snap a quick photo with him… his shirt made me laugh! 😊

Had a great time celebrating the grand opening of @wawa in Smithfield Township today! ☕️✂️ Lots of smiles - and free coffee for the next four days!
At the event, I was also proud to announce a $3 million grant I secured to finish Route 209 — a heavily traveled route that I know many of you use daily. 🚧🛣️
Wawa is a proud Pennsylvania-based company — PA knows a thing or two about great convenience stores! 🎉
So great to be joined by Smithfield Township, Pennsylvania State Police, Marshalls Creek Fire CompanyCompany, and members of our community. 🤗

The West Scranton community is mourning the sudden loss of Coach Tommy Selemba — a dedicated leader, mentor, and advocate for youth sports. His passing is a powerful reminder of how precious life is and how important it is to be prepared for the unexpected.
It also brings a solemn reminder to the story of Greg Moyer, a young athlete who tragically died from sudden cardiac arrest during a basketball game in 2000. There was no AED on-site.
Since then, Greg’s parents, John and Rachel Moyer, have worked tirelessly to place AEDs in schools and public spaces across Pennsylvania. Their advocacy has saved lives — and it’s why I’m once again calling on the legislature to pass Greg Moyer’s Law, which I’ve authored.
This legislation would: ✔ Require AEDs at all interscholastic athletic events — including practices ✔ Ensure every school and nonpublic school has a Sudden Cardiac Event Emergency Action Plan
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen without warning. A prepared response can mean the difference between life and loss.
To the Moyer family, to Coach Selemba’s loved ones, and to all who have faced this kind of tragedy — your stories matter. Your voices continue to guide this work.

🎶 The East Stroudsburg North Choir brought their incredible talent to the Capitol Rotunda recently—and as always, they did an outstanding job! 👏🎼 So proud to see our local students representing our community with such passion and professionalism.🎤

So proud to recognize Gigi Ukaj from Monroe County today at the Capitol during the Big 33 Classic press conference—known as “The Super Bowl of High School Football”! 🏈 Gigi is one of the Big 33 cheerleaders 📣 and cheers for Bethlehem Catholic.
Congratulations, Gigi! 🎉👏
